The Kuban is one of the most popular resort tourism regions of the countries.

The resort complex is more than 1200 business in the sanatorium-resort complex and tourism which can accommodate approximately 220 000 people at one time. The largest, successfully working sanatorium-resort complexes of the Krai include: Adlerkurort, the park hotel Gostinitsa Leningrad, the hotel Radisson Lazurynaya (Sochi), the resort complex Nadezhda (Gelendzhik), Osdorovitelnii Kompleks Gamma (Tuapsinskii region) and the sanatorium Akvamarin (Anapa).

In the summer season of 2006 in the resorts of Krasnodar Krai 120% more people holidayed than in the past. Tax revenues to the Krai exchequer also increased: 146% more in comparison with the previous year. The influx of holidaymakers to the resorts of the Kuban is directly related to the increase in prosperity of Russian people. According to forecasts by specialists, by 2016 the number of holidaymakers will increase several times, which will make the resorts of Krasnodar Krai even more attractive for domestic and foreign investors.
