Interclub
Interclub, where overseas participants gave their presentations and held business meetings and negotiations, worked every day of the Forum.
The following events took place at Interclub:

Round table Sochi 2009 Forum: Instructions, and Possible Paths for Cooperation between Stavropol Region with Italy, whose organizers were the delegation from the Italian Republic. A working meeting between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Italy Vittorio Claudio Surdo and the Chairman of the Government of Stavropol Region also took place. Working meetings were held by Leroy Merlin Vostok.

A presentation of Swedish companies was given: Fagerhults Belysning AB held a seminar on Trends in Lighting: Combining Ergonomics and Environmental Friendliness: Energy Efficient Solutions.

A meeting between the delegation from Germany and representatives of the XXII Winter Olympic Games Sochi 2014 Organising Committee was held. A contract on opening an Italian information and business centre in Sochi to be based at the Sochi Chamber of Commerce was signed.

Broadcasting of the Plenary Session made it possible for overseas participants at the Forum to watch the Session in English, German and French. 50 members of the German delegation, 20 members of the Italian delegation and 60 members of other foreign delegations attended the broadcast.

Working meetings in the negotiation rooms were held by Derbez and Team Green (France), Lafarge Cement and the Administration of Voronezh Region, and the Philips company.

The Russia-Finland Business Dialogue was held with Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation Elvira Nabiullina and Minister for Foreign Trade Paavo Vayurynen participating.

The round table Further Development of the Infrastructure in Krasnodar Region: Joint Projects and Possibilities for Financing was held, organized by the Representation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in Germany. The Armenian Agency for Development presented The Investment Climate and Priority Sectors in the Republic of Armenia.

The Italian and German delegations were the most active participants in the work of Interclub. Most interest was shown in the Russia-Finland Business Dialogue and the Further Development of the Infrastructure in Krasnodar Region: Joint Projects and Possibilities for Financing round table.
Interclub attracted overseas participants at the Forum with its opportunity to hold round tables that included multi-media presentations, the opportunity to watch the broadcast of the Plenary Session in other languages, as well as the availability of negotiation rooms for holding meetings, a zone for informal discussion, and its buffets. Around 300 Forum participants visited Interclub each day. Many people commented positively on the work of Interclub and expressed the desire to take part in it next year. |
